Who you are dealing with

Pine Time is operated by Online Community Credit Cooperative, Rm 404 Jose Miguel Bldg, Yandoc St., Baguio City (www.occc.ph), a cooperative registered in the Philippines. Pine Time is part of our community development activities. By creating an account or booking an event you agree to these terms.

What Pine Time does

Pine Time lists community events in and around Baguio and lets you book a place at them. Events are created and run by their organizers, not by us. The organizer decides the price, the venue, what happens at the event, and whether to cancel it.

Payment

We do not currently take payment for events. An event is either free, or paid directly to its organizer by a method they state — cash on arrival, GCash, or bank transfer. Where you pay an organizer directly, that payment is between you and them; we hold no money on anyone’s behalf and operate no escrow.

We charge organizers nothing to list or run an event. If that changes, or if we begin accepting payment on organizers’ behalf, we will say so here before it takes effect.

Your account

• Give us an email address you can actually receive mail at — we use it to confirm bookings and to verify who you are.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not book seats you do not intend to use.
• You must be old enough to enter into a contract, or have a parent or guardian agree on your behalf.

If you organize events

• Describe your event honestly — the date, the place, the price, and what attendees get.
• Run the event you advertised, or cancel it and tell your attendees promptly. Cancelling notifies everyone holding a seat.
• You are responsible for the event itself: permits, safety, and anything you collect from attendees directly.
• Only publish images you have the right to use.
• Handle attendee information only for running your event.

Cancellations and refunds

These are set out on our cancellations and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

What you may not do

• Post anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• List an event you do not intend to run.
• Interfere with the site, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or scrape it at scale.
• Impersonate another person or organization.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove an account or an event listing that breaks these terms.

What we do not promise

We provide Pine Time as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, and we do not vet organizers or their events beyond checking that an organizer is who they say they are before we would let them take payment online, once that feature exists. We are not responsible for what happens at an event, for an organizer’s conduct, or for a payment you make directly to an organizer.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Philippine consumer protection law.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. By publishing it on Pine Time you let us display and distribute it for the purpose of running the site and promoting the events on it.

Ending it

You can stop using Pine Time at any time. To have your account closed, email us at [email protected] and a person will do it — there is no self-service button yet.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not yet have a way to notify every registered user directly, so please check back from time to time. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes belong to the courts of Baguio City.
